Skin type: Normal to dry
Out of the sheet masks I purchased from Nykaa, I had reviewed the Rose and Goat Milk one a few days back. Today, I have with me another variant, that is the Rice and Camelia one. So without further ado, let’s jump right into the review and see how this one fared out for me. Keep reading…
What The Brand Claims:
Packaging: The sheet mask comes in a beautiful plastic cover with pretty pink flowers drawn all over. It looks lovely and definitely catches one’s attention. It will fit right in your bag and is easy to carry around. As you tear open the outer cover, you will find the sheet mask inside. All the important details such as date of manufacturing, use-before date, directions to use, ingredient list and price are clearly mentioned at the back of the cover.
My Experience With The Product: Nykaa Rice and Camelia Sheet Mask is white in color and is very soft to touch. As you can see in the pictures, it is completely drenched in serum. However, I found the sheet to be really thin! In fact, one needs to be careful while unfolding; else it can easily tear off. I simply take the mask out and put it on my face. But you do need to slightly adjust it according to the shape of your face.
There is also some serum left behind inside the packet, that can be applied on the hands and arms. As soon as you apply the mask, it provides a soothing feeling that relaxes the skin. I let it stay on till it dries out; which usually takes around 20 minutes. There is no need to wash your face afterwards, since the whole point is to let the goodness of the serum seep into your skin.
As soon as I remove the mask, I massage the remaining serum into my skin. The great thing about this mask is that the serum beautifully gets absorbed and does not leave behind any residue. In fact, it feels quite lightweight and comfortable, which is great! It removes dullness and imparts a healthy and natural glow to the face. Unfortunately, this glow does not last long! My skin instantly feels soft, supple and hydrated and I feel this mask would work best for those with combination to dry skin.
Speaking of the fragrance, this mask has a soft floral scent that is just amazing! The product can be easily found on Nykaa’s website as well as at Nykaa stores.

Final Thoughts: Nykaa Rice and Camelia Sheet Mask effectively hydrates the skin and leaves it soft, supple and refreshed. It removes dullness and imparts a natural glow, that unfortunately does not last long. The serum beautifully gets absorbed into the skin and feels lightweight and non-sticky. It is convenient to use as well as dispose off and the soft floral scent is just lovely! Unfortunately, it contains alcohol, which is a disappointment!
If sheet masks work for your skin, then this is definitely a great buy! But you do need to use the mask regularly for a good amount of time to notice visible results and spend 100 bucks for a single sheet every time.
