Skin type: Normal to dry

Hey there!

Welcome back to my blog. Hope you are doing great! Today’s review is on the very popular St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub, that is now available in India and comes in a revamped packaging. I had read raving reviews about this product and wanted to try it out for myself. After using it regularly for a good 2 months now, I am sharing my experience with you all. Keep reading to find out more…

What The Brand Claims: Hello Glowing Cheeks! From America’s #1 scrub brand, this multi-award winner contains 100% natural walnut shell powder to deeply exfoliate for clean, glowing skin.

Packaging: The brand has recently revamped the packaging and the scrub comes in a vibrant, chubby tube. It has a flip-top cap that shuts tightly with a click and is hygienic-to-use. All the important information like MRP, date of manufacturing, use-before date, ingredient list, directions to use and net product weight is clearly mentioned. All in all, I absolutely loved the packaging! It’s attractive as well as convenient-to-use, but can be slightly bulky to carry around.

Ingredient List:

My Experience With The Product: St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub has a thick and really creamy texture. It contains tiny exfoliating granules that are densely packed together. It is a dream to work with and I absolutely loved the formula! It beautifully spreads on the skin and provides deep exfoliation. It is important to use this scrub gently and with a light hand, else it can feel harsh on the skin. The product quantity is good and goes a long way.

It brilliantly works to remove dead skin cells and leaves the skin soft, clean and thoroughly refreshed. I sometimes also use this as a body scrub and it does a good job there too! The product is quick and fuss-free to rinse off and does not leave any slippery feel behind.

Another great thing is that as this is a cream-based scrub, it does not dry out the skin. It has a soft Apricot scent that is both soothing as well as pleasing  to the nose. The fragrance lingers on for some time and eventually settles down. It retails for Rs 399 for 170 gm and can be easily found online.

PS: As this scrub provides deep exfoliation, make sure to do a patch test first, especially if you have sensitive skin.

Final Thoughts: St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub has a very smooth and creamy texture. It provides deep exfoliation and does an excellent job of exfoliating the skin. The face instantly feels soft, clean and thoroughly refreshed. It is quick and easy to rinse off too and has a soft Apricot scent that I absolutely love!

Unfortunately, it contains a good amount of chemicals and is priced on the higher side too. Other than that, I can definitely say that this is by far the best face scrub that I have tried and I am super impressed. If the ingredient list did not include this much chemicals, it would have just been perfect!
