Today’s review on yet another shade from Maybelline’s Color Show Nail Polish range. This one goes by the name ‘Devil Wears Purple’ and I have been wearing this a lot lately. So let’s begin and see what are my thoughts on this one. Stay tuned…
What The Brand Claims: With trendy, super stylish shades, these nail colors add oodles of attitude to your overall look. Presenting 40 attractive shades, the Maybelline Color Show Range lets you mix, match and experiment with color!
Packaging: Like most Maybelline nail polishes, this one too comes in a cute little glass bottle with a black cap. It contains 6 ml of product and all important information such date of manufacturing, shelf-life, net volume as well as MRP is clearly mentioned.
The name of the shade along with the shade number is mentioned at the top of the cap of the bottle. The brush is also easy to use and picks up the right amount of product. It covers the nail area properly and does not feel harsh at all.
Shade: Devil Wears Purple is a purplish-pink shade with loads of fine microshimmers. The color sets into a shiny finish and looks absolutely gorgeous on the nails.
My Thoughts On The Product: Maybelline Color Show Nail Polish in the shade Devil Wears Purple has just the right consistency! It is neither too runny nor too thick! The nail color applies smoothly on the nails and dries down quickly too. This shade is well pigmented and goes opaque in 2 swipes.
It stays on for a good 4-5 days, but as is the case with most polishes, it starts chipping off from the tips in a day or two, if you are into daily household chores. Along with this, the removal of this nail color is also quick and fuss-free. It easily comes off in a single go with a good nail polish remover and does not leave any stains behind. The product retails for Rs 110 for 6 ml and can be easily found online as well as at Maybelline counters.

Do I Recommend This? Maybelline Color Show Nail Polish, Devil Wears Purple has just the right consistency and is very easy to work with. It smoothly applies on the nails and dries down quickly too. The color is simply stunning and looks gorgeous on the hands. It has a decent staying power and comes at an affordable price tag too. Highly Recommended! 🙂
